Lesser restoration not working (and lesser restoration potions)
I have several characters that have been knocked down to like 5 in dexterity, strength, and con and I cant get their skills back up from using restoration spells/potions/scrolls. None of them are working at the moment. So I basically cant progress anymore.

are you :
1. Using lesser restoration?
2. If then : hover over the icon indicating the debuff : what is written here? is it ability DAMAGE or ability DRAIN?

Drained ability needs to be "healed" by the better version of the restoration spell, while lesser retoration only works on ability damage...(for exemple defaced sisters are draining your ability)...

two years later this post, i'm new to the game since a few days, so here's my question, what am i mssing with this, stupid quesiton, why does lesser spell and potion not working, but scrolls does, what is the difference between the scroll and the potion, all description seems to be the same, i use a few potions in a row to test, nothing, use a single scroll, goes off.

None

The difference is between what can be cure by lesser restoration vs restoration vs greater restoration.

Ability damage: lesser restoration
Ability drain: restoration, greater restoration

If you are new to the game, then it's most likely Ability Damage from poison. Any lesser restoration should cure 1d4 and/or 1pts by resting.

Delay poison, communal is one of the best buff in the game. It protect your group against poison effects.
