Animal companion doesnt level up
my ranger with animal boon , at level 11 , his animal companion is till level 9

Your animal companion's level depends on your character's level, but is not always equal. Sadly we cannot see the HD of our animal companion, nor select its feats per level, but with the feat, you will have the same animal companion as if you were a level 11 druid.

Yeah this is working as intended, check the Pathfinder ruleset.

A level 11 druid has a 9 HD animal companion. With boon companion, your effective druid level is L11.

i know that rule , at level 5 , it was level 5 , at 6 it was 6 , 7 -7 , 8-8 at 9 it was 9 . but at 10 it was 9 then at 11 , it was still 9

Well it shouldn't have been 7 HD when your ranger was L7, that happens at L8. Then at L9, 8 HD, at L10, 9HD. At 12, 10 HD. And so on. At L20 your animal companion should have 16 HD. The animal companion isn't supposed to replace a PC, just supplement. This doesn't seem like a bug.

It is definitely bugged for Druids who received their companion from the Nature Domain. I am playing such a Druid, with the Boon Companion feat, and my companion does not level up. I play with Ekun in party and we both have a "dog" (although technically his is the wolf, but they are very similar). Theoretically our companions should progress at the same rate. However, Ekun's companion gains stats and improves with levels, mine stays the same. This was most noticeable at level 7 when his dog got the size increase and mine did not.

Having heard from other people having issues with domain features on non-cleric classes, I suspect there is a general issue. Namely that domain features only check for level ups in the cleric class: if you have a cleric domain feature on a non-cleric, you are SOL for the time being.

Druid with animal domain & boon companion definitely doesn't work as intended. My dog was lvl 5 when i got him, and now at lvl 10 he is still level 5...

I can confirm this too.

Hadn't used Harim (i leveled him as a Druid with AnC from Animal Domain) in ages, but due to a certain event i took him out, and noticed his Smilodon was at 5 HD, while his character level is 12 (1 Cleric / 11 Druid)

Boon companion feat was chosen at lv5 IIRC.
