An Amusement of Nobles does not fail properly

After the initial meeting with the royal council, if the player waits a significant amount of time before persuing this quest, the 2nd stage: Meet the huntsman at the lodge will enter into a fail state without a quest update pop up. Despite this, the player is still able to enter the hunting lodge and begin the hunt. Once the NPC hunters have left the lodge, Jamal Visser will only mention that the servant had become a monster, which should only happen after mission completion. During the hunt there are no quest updates and the player is unable to complete the hunt. I was able to get the scripted goblin sequences to trigger but not the embreth traveler sequence. After clearing the hunting grounds, the player is unable to complete the quest.

I did a bit of playing around and it looks like anything over 7-10 days was what was needed to fail the quest due to time

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Obtain An amusement for Nobles quest and complete the first task in the quest
2. progress time until the second step of the quest lists as failed on the journalj
3. Travel to the hunting Lodge and witness the quest conversation there. Note that the journal does not update.
4. Travel to the hunting grounds and clear the map
5. Return to the hungint lodge and note that the quest cannot be completed
