Tenebrous Depths progression frozen at Floor 4
I'm currently in the middle of the War of the River Kings. I made a bug report through the game before the Rushlight Tournament that the Tenebrous Depths was bugged and I couldn't progress past floor 4. "A shroud of swirling darkness blocks the path" at the end of the 4th floor behind the Weary Traveler.

I hadn't done anything in the Depths up till I got a message a month or so before about "the second boss was defeated and the way further down opened". Which was strange as I hadn't been inside the depth at all. Well after the Rushlight Tournament and the last update about the way to the Spawn being opened I tried going back.

Went through the portal to the 4th floor, ran to the end. Guess what? "A shroud of swirling darkness blocks the path". It's totally stuck.

You normally have 4 new floors open at almost each chapter. You should be at least able to reach floor 12 at Pitax chapter. Maybe they all gonna open really quickly? i don't know... For now it look like a bug :(

You may need to wait a while. Keep playing. A kingdom event card will notify you that the dungeon is open to explore.

I already got the last event card it's going to give me presumably, saying that the Spawn was accessible. I'm now past the War of the River Kings.

Have You talked to the dragon after defeating the traveler? I don´t know if it is important, but i did it everytime i beat one of those "bosses". And yes - usually You should be able to access the complete dungeon if i remember right - at that point of the game.

Hmm, my only advice is to wait. Sorry, I've never had this happen to me. Press f11 and file a bug report, if you haven't already.

I did send in a bug report and I tried talking to the dragon about the Weary Traveler's Shield. He had no new dialogue besides that. Even tried going back through all his other dialogue and nothing happened.

The last 4 floors were "opened" after the Rushlight tournament. I'm in the First Crown chapter now. Well past anything to do with progress in the Tenebrous Depths. I went back to check again after "An Ancient Curse: Part Seven". Still can't proceed to down the stairs to the 5th floor.

I'm marking the thread answered. Nothing really left to add.
