Kill or not Kill Rimsel ?

Is there any advantage or disadvantage in killing or keeping Rimsel alive after helping him fight the wisps on the island by candlelight?

dont know for sure but in later part of game you will visit this area again. it could be soon or late visit, depends where will you go first.
i never been there soon (yet!), but when iv got there late - i found some remainings of him...

You get no experiance for killing him and he is a fairly decently powered caster with brutally stong summons with only a cloak of resistnce +1, a basic breast plate and a +1 quarterstaff as loot, not worth it.

Doesn't matter. Either he dies, or never plays any role in the game again.
