I guess it was a good thing you didn't marry her then. ALso that is horrible railroading.

... I am just in the last Dungeon

4 died even I solved their quests, they just killed each other ...

1 is standing there and is just sad

4 are at least following me

and Linzi's soul is in the book , she communicates with me ...

LOL WTF, apart that my BAB 32 main char only hits with 20 !!!!
and that after I have changed to story mode setting

... so I don't have a thief , a mage and a cleric
and the alchemist has lost his ability to throw bombs WTF

the dead have the best gear , BUT YOU AREN't able to loot them :-)

The balance is a joke and the DM hates me LOL ...
Even on that setting my group needs 20 minutes for a single battle, because as I said only hitting with 20 and they heal themself every 5th turn with "HEAL" ... what to say

That is the worst balanced CRPG I ever have played
So believe me, Linzi's death is the smallest problem, but for me a big one, as she was the thief and scout !

Really don't understand the devs, that they think this is fun !

Linzi is such a linchpin for good parties with her abilities, that if she really dies regardless of her quest it is a bit of unfair hit in the balls. Also, it makes Nyrissa completely unforgivable as a villain. Why would you concider helping her after she slayed all the people you liked?

And what is the point of always poking the player with the idea how important companions are, make him build the best party possible to face final dungeon, invest in them, only to have plot take them away on a whim? You might have just played with a party of mercenaries then.

I wonder what would happen if you follow 100% good path and try to "romance" Nyrissa tho.

There's no ending where she lives, so I assume that there's no way to avoid it. And the way it happened did feel like railroading. Ah well.

Not to mention all the hundreds of kingdoms she's destroyed. What's one more death on top of that?

But considering the circumstances, it's still a good act to help her. She's as much of a victim as everyone else in this mess.

I'd say Lawful Evil puts it the best way: "You messed with stronger powers and got rekt. Deal with it."

Except for the part where she rebelled against the Eldest, lost, then murdered countless people to apologise. Doesn't sound like a victim in my book.

And the only way they could make her do that was... Actually, if you haven't played that far, I'm not gonna spoil it.

Make 5 Mercs from the pathfinder guild. Then you dont have to deal with that BS.

point is, you cant use mercs in house... and OP said that is final dung - this is not true...
Brew Oct 25, 2018 @ 11:06pm
You can use mercs inside the house, in fact you spawn with them and dont have to do companion ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

so uh, cool? built my party around lindzi, and she dies? ekundayo died for me too, but i saved the rest. i have zero idea if i could have saved him but it doesn't seem possible.

seems stupid. lost a lot of energy to finish the game. i guess i should have just used mercenaries, per usual, but i decided, "No, every game of Pillars of Eternity I ignore storyline characters and won't do it this time in Pathfinder."

cool.

You automatically save all companions if you completed their companion quests with their "good" endings.

I just am at that point at the game and everyone survived , well except Lizi who turned into a book.
That seems unavoidable.

As for Eekundayo, if you helped him to make peace with the death of his family and dont go down the revenge path he will survive.
Serves her right for stealing and reading other's people's letter's..and interfering in slaughtering Alondi.
