Rogue Trader has coop after you clear the first act. You could try that. It's a Warhammer 40K setting with turn based only. If you're into that. It's a good game. Not sure how good the coop is. But the Pathfinder games by Owlcat are not coop. Just solo. And that's all we really need.

No anything GW related. They are on boycott list.

Games Workshop. He doesn't like the creator of Warhammer for some reason.

Ah. I've never heard of anyone disliking that company or creator before.

Maybe because they overprice pieces of unpainted plastic to play with? I dunno. Lol.

Parsec exists, good way to play multiplayer even without the game having it.

I don't think parsec allows coop if the game doesn't have such a feature. As far as I know Parsec is a screensharing program. So if it has local coop you could technically share it with someone else...

It works, me and friends have done it. Turn based mode in game and everyone just takes their turn as it comes up. Wouldn't have suggested it if I didn't know if it worked or not.

What I think it does is one player shares their screen and controls and others can interact as if they play their own character. I would find that neither safe nor actually having coop. But I guess it works.

It's just a limited remote desktop access program, you can make it only work with select programs. It's not exactly complicated and it's far safer than true remote desktop access.

Very likely exploitable. I mean among friends where you physically know and trust eachother I guess it's alright. I wouldn't do this with online friends and especially not with people you don't know.

Less exploitable than chrome remote desktop which is full remote desktop access. They have excellent security features built in, one of which I already said. Setting it up to only work inside specific applications. You weren't even sure what the program did to begin with so I wouldn't be commenting on how secure or insecure it is, go read their website before you do that. Guy wanted to know if it has co-op, it doesn't, I offered a safe alternative. More than likely he wants to use it with friends anyways if he's looking for co-op functionality too, and the nice thing with Parsec is only you have to own the game. Not everyone needs to buy the game.
