Archer become really good at BAB 6 or when they get manyshot. Before that, they are pretty weak. Pure divine hunters are extremely deadly against evil enemies but the main problem of a Paladin in this campaign is that fey, the main enemies of the campaign, are chaotic neutral.
Are paladin still viable? Yes but not as good as in Wrath of the Righteous.
If those sorcerer levels are important to you, my suggestion would be ->
2 Paladin -> (maybe one level of scaled fist monk) -> 6 sorcerer -> 10 Eldritch Knight
If Paladin is more important, simply go pure Divine Hunter archer with maybe 1 level of scaled fist monk.
That aside, all ranged martial characters can be great, though they typically don't benefit much from some arcane caster levels. So if you're really concerned about damage from this one character alone, I might consider a respec without Sorc... or maybe even something else entirely depending on how important Paladin or divine casting is to you. DH/Slayer (Deliverer) would work really well if you want to keep the Pally part.
