Frankly its a problem with alot of these games not wanting to give us proper summon monster and such BUT! i will say in this case, the summoner is not a base class in Kingmaker, it was added via a mod so it was never planned. Even in Wrath i dont think the summoner is going to be in it base line so we'll probably have to rely on modders again for it.
I miss nwn. Push R, 6 - 7 seconds and off you go again.
It makes it closer to a tabletop experience. I play casters in pathfinder pnp and casting spells is a big deal, most of the time you go with scrolls, wands, cantrips and do exploration related tasks.
Pathfinder 2e kind of corrects that with cantrips scaling with your character level and having non spellbook/repertoire powers (like domain spells, bloodline spells etc.) being virtually per encounter instead of per rest (the focus points only need 10 minutes to regenerate, not 8 hours), and reducing the number of slots of the actual spellbook to 3-4 slots per levels.
Only took me 4 hours to find out that no they don't :steamsad
