So, I guess that was my last try to complete the game. Not starting another run. Every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time there is something else. Update bricks my saves, mod bricks my saves. Im done
Rule one of modding, do not remove your mods from your current playthrough unless you're willing to lose everything
You should definitely give it another try though! I've found myself coming back to this game as the pathfinder system has so many cool classes
I actually managed to debrick it by rolling back umm way way back.
(There is no 2.1 patch - most recent update was 2021)
late edit:
Whoops, my mistake. I misread OP intent as blaming devs for a very old save game no longer working due to updates six years ago. Tried to call OP out for that which revealed my ignorance.

Tough to admit my comprehension fail.
Dude didn't blame devs.
He is venting frustration. We all have had that.
I think that it "should" work to uninstall everything, delete every single shred of data from all the places it hides. Reinstall. Load same load of mods. Then load the game from the cloud, which it should automatically have saved your game to.
If you have not finished a play through on the game yet, I promise you it is worth trying.
Should all that fail, you can create a "new" game complete with everything you lost via toybox or whichever version is for Kingmaker, and roll on. It isn't a cheat (though you need to have the mod that blocks them from blocking achievements.
I have been here exactly where you are at, but I had finished the game on previous play through. It is definitely worth the effort. The ending is so hard and fun at the same time.
Best of luck!
