Varnholds Lot vs. main campaign..
Curious about the connection and what order is meant here?

As in description iof VL is "play this story and the main campaign will reflect the consequences..."

But other way around while starting VL I am asked for import character from main campaign... (that I almost finished so the character there already finished Varnhold line..)

Without spoiling much how it works than? You are asked for improt into main campaign? Or to change outcome of VL for all future playthroughts you have to replay (and amke different choice...)?
There's nothing much to spoil. At the certain point not long after the season of the bloom questline is done you will get a prompt to import the varn DLC save. That's about the short and long of it. The import you do at the start of varn DLC doesn't matter at all.

From what i read, the dlc happens between two main story chapters ( 2 and 3 ?).
varnhold vanishing probably
So you should play it before the (3?)rd chapter, and then it will have some light impact on the main campaign

I completed it in main campaign long ago...

And that is I dont understand here - so bring character from main camapign is only for some extra flavour to see my character during cutscenes?

Or to get some effect from this I need to start new main campaign, import early character to VL and after i finish it go back to main cmpaign to have some alteration fo Varnhold story part... or completing VL affect all future main campaign playtrhoughts?:p

To get the full experience from the DLC it is ideal to play it as part of a new game, playing it when you first get the letter from Megar Varn inviting you to Varnhold.
It doesn't affect all future playthroughs however. When you start the DLC you chose a save. That playthrough of the DLC attaches its self to that save.

That's not true. Only thing first import does is decides the looks of the MC in one cutscene. That's literally it. Your varn endstate save can be injected into as many games as you like once you have it.
