Classes that cast spontaneously (bards, sorcerers and magus') don't have to worry about switching spells.
Yes, I know how to change spells. I'm talking about selecting spells for the next rest so you don't have to give up your current spell slots. Like if I want to switch a heal spell to another spell but still want to be able to use the heal spell during the rest.
I don't think you can.
However, i do not know if it takes into account the "turn any spell into healing spell" from priest and such.
Regarding the "Like if I want to switch a heal spell to another spell but still want to be able to use the heal spell during the rest."
You can only use this spell during rest if it was not used. If it was not used, you can cast it manually before resting, and then change this spell slot into another spell before resting.
Either I missed sth, or you misundestand sth about the way spells are used.
Normally, in tabletop pathfinder (and D&D), you pick your spells during daily preparations, which is part of resting. In Kingmaker it seems you have to make those choices before you rest, and just forfeit whatever spells you want to swap out. I wanted to know if there was a way to change spells properly.
Not sure i understood what you described and when occurs "daily preparation" in tabletop.
You do choose the spell before resting in this game.
And when you wrote we "just forfeit whatever spells you want to swap out", i do agree.
But how could you not forfeit them considering you are gonna sleep and not use them anyway even if you not swap ? (and if they are healing spells, they are automatically used then refreshed)
