Valerie romance problem

well,I checked the scripts of game and found a story about Valerie‘s ex.It seems that this script will happen when player enter the city.If I may ask what is the precondition which can trigger this event(eg. event? romance count?mission?,act ?).Thanks.
PS:I had tried bag of tricks to modify the romance count and trigger all kinds of camping events.But this event did not happen.

1) Thing you should need is romance counter at max value for the specific part of romance, which can be seen in Bag of Tricks in Misc. tab.
For first romance scene to activate it should be at
Romance counter: 29
2) First companion quest with duel between Val and Federro at Oleg's (Does not matter who wins)

First,thanks.But the scene you mentioned has been triggered,the only romance scene(it is quite different from yours.it is about her ex boyfriend.Maybe there are two scene in bar?) that I don't trigger is the one I found in the text.And I have finished the judgement of god.

Yeah sorry got confused it is her second romance scene counter should be 59 for that, and you also need to finish her second companion quest. And maybe camp dialoge about ogre and another with potion for scar.

Only 1 in game withouth Wildcard DLC.
With Fire Tiefling Kinecist twin you can cheat on your first romance, but you cannot romance Water Twin in this case.
Nyrissa is special in that her romance triggers in last chapter and automaticaly overrides other romances.

What do you mean by cheat? Are there any events for that? Or your first romance gets broken when you sleep with tiefling?

No your first romance does not get broken. Kanerah even has special dialoge on you cheating with her.
Things like:
MC- I love you.
Kanerah - Oh really, what would Valerie say if she heard that.

Though I never went too far with cheating so I do not know what happens at the end.

Strange, I flirted with Val on every opportunity but her romance never started and so there were no extra comments about cheating. What are the triggers for Val? As I understand it her interest increases each time you pick alternative replies when you have the option to praise her looks. I picked those mostly but mixed in few of the beauty variety (like 2 maybe) and this was enough to lose progress? Is that one of those autistic dialogue designs where you absolutely must pick only the right choices in conversations or you are screwed?

I think rather that it's one of those logical dialogue choices where you need to act in the character of someone that would interest Valerie. Of course, if you're not good at picking up clues from conversations, this might be rather more difficult.

You need points so even if you skip something you can do romance later as long as you finish her companion quests, you get points by picking right dialoge options. You will know you gained points when Val interjects dialoge with positive comment after the choice you clicked. Dialoge choices with other NPC gives 5 points usually. If it is aligment locked choice "Lawful" then it should give you 10 points. At Oleg when talking to Val you can get 1 point ("For the moment, yes. I am not going to stalk you like your admires.....")
I think goes something like this:
1 point to start romance.
New Camp scene - Broken clasp on armor
Scene at Oleg after killing Stag Lord
First companion quest - Duel (Val needs to duel)
29 points to start first romance scene
New Camp scenes - Ogre broke shield, Shady potion, Val argues with Reg
2nd quest - bard creates insulting ballads of Val
59 points - second romance scene (sex "scene")
New Camp scenes - Rumors, Gift from Val
3rd quest - Trial
99 points - third romance scene
Some endgame talk etc. and then Ending Slide.

Other than Shady potion camp scene which requires effect that is dispelled in 3rd quest, you should be able to see camp scenes any time after they are unlocked.
Note it is possible to do Rushlight tournament before 3rd quest.

I do not find valerie attractive in any way shape or form, and I cringe whenever I read dialogue that suggests it or hear her voice overs. Id rather have a romance with Nok Nok, than valerie

Oh wow, thanks for the insight! I played an evil ♥♥♥♥ and Val ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about most of my choices, I see now why it didn't work out haha!

Last question I have is there unique comment for tiefling girl romance in Inconsequent Debates? When I asked that question about future love they said I have no one in my heart even though I checked with BoT - there were counts with her. Was it bugged and there are lines hidden in the files somewhere or Owlcat simply forgot to add that little detail?

Almost forgot about Kanerah's and Kallike's counters, they are different, you only gain points in their quests and romance scenes. Neutral choices to their companion quests resolution are needed to romance both twins at the same time.
I recommend Kingdom Resolution mod to see what triggers what and what choice gives you points.

To debates I think I got Eldest to say it, I think, it might require second romance scene.
