It's an i9 9900k. I don't even own a program to overclock it
A blue screen doesn't appear but it would freeze my whole pc with a audio stutter and unable to do anything, sometimes it restarts on it's own, but sometimes I need to hit the restart button on my tower.
- to move all the custom portraits somewhere else (your portrait will most likely become a default black one for now)
- verify the integrity of the game files
- and check if the game still crash
Before removing your portraits, try to change the fullscreen setting to ''fullscreen bordeless window''
I will see if this does anything first.
It is on borderless but even with unlock cursor it locks to the game (2 monitor setuo)
It would seem the portrait mod was responsable for the hard crash, I've reached the same point without crash even with save loading etc for the amount of time it would take for it to hard crash.
Thank you @Mork for the suggestion. Guess I'm stuck with a non headcannon portrait for my character. It's ok though since this game is so good.
