Game is freaking HUGE?!
okay so I'm so stranger to CRPGS, I've completed a lot of CRPGS (i own a lot of games such as divinity, pillars, wasteland, and numenera on consoles, and games like pillars 2 and a few others on gog) but pathfinder kingmaker seems just absolutely freaking HUGE. I'm done with the main plot of act 2-troll trouble (but still in it) and am exploring and still have SO MUCH to see, there are THIRTEEN sections of the map and I've only conquered TWO and explored 4 (not even all of the 4, just all of two of them) and there's still so much to go. I think part of it is that im playing mostly in turn based mode which i enjoy more (I chose to play pillars 2 in rtwp mode because it did it so well) can anyone tell me roughly how much to expect? this game just seems ridiculously large at this point? it seems as of right now that this might be one the if not the biggest time sink of a CRPG that i can find...

Basically you've done the prologue, and is now on the first "quest", you've got a long, long way to go :P

Here's hoping the sequel is as meaty despite most players not finishing kingmaker

Do People really finish that game in 100h?
I'm ~110 hours in and just starting with Pitax. I anticipate sth. around 200 h (?) And I believe to be pretty quick with reading and fighting.

If you cut the downtime of tabbing, pondering on the builds and other side activities around 150h for a blind run sounds pretty accurate to me. But then my memory of the blind run is kinda foggy 2600h later.

Playing in RTWP makes fight quicker from personal experience. So chosing that or Turn-Based and of course your difficulty will greatly change the duration of this game.

Yeah this is one of the longest baldur-like there is. Baldur's gate 2 with throne of bhaal, might be as long if you do all the sidequests and don't use the plot shortcuts to speed up chapters 4 and 5.

Its the longest RPG I played so far. I have no qualms with that, and I like also that the in-game story is drawn over several years (probably 5 to 7 years or so, doing the math)? Its one of the few juggernauts in the last decade, that is not an open world game. I wish there would be more like it.

I think I was around 170-180h when i finished it.
But you have to take into account :

1) I reloaded A LOT ( a) because i was getting wrecked, 2) before I understood how KM and hilltop worked, c) was too cautious about KM )
2) i think i spent several hours before creating my MC ( was in fact looking on the net what some classes were as i did not know them. I did not look for build but to know what classes were doing)
3) I basically never looked on the net for guides except in two mains occassions, and spent hours (litteraly) running around in two 'special maps'
