This game has it(you can search the game folder for EOSSDK).

It would be great to see it removed from the game.

Nope, official Steam version. Some games here on Steam have EOS for some reason, which makes it all the more important for them to remove it from these versions.

That file does not exist in my Pathfinder Kingmaker folder, and I bought it on Steam like three weeks ago. If it was there before, it's not now.

I recently activated the key on my account and did a fresh and complete install of the game. It's there in the game folder(don't recall which folder exactly as I've already uninstalled it).

I don't have Epic on my computer, but I found these files in my game folders:
EOSSDK-Shipping.dll (in the Kingmaker folder),
EOSSDK-Win64-Shipping.dll and EOSSDK.dll (in the Rogue Trader folder), and
EOSSDK-Win64-Shipping.dll (in the Pathfinder Second Adventure folder).
