What is the Royal Ascension board game module?
I've not got the Royal Ascension DLC, seeing how it seems to mostly contain things that I don't really care about, but the "board game" module has me intrigued. What is it, more exactly? Is it a module for the tabletop RPG, or something different, and is it anything noteworthy?

Module for tabletop Pathfinder.

You can read discussion, it has probably most info about how it is.

If you did not know this game uses Pathfinder 1E ruleset, and Kingmaker is originaly tabletop Adventure Path. That then Owlcat took and rewrote few things to create videogame.

Thanks! The description on the store page was really unclear. I don't think I would call a tabletop RPG adventure a "board game module" :P But it makes sense for the game at least.

Hm, an 8th level adventure, think I'll give it a skip then. Never really thought Pathfinder was fun to GM past the first few levels, so even if the adventure itself is good, I don't think I would actually try to run it.

Note path finder is loosely based off of D&D 3.0/3.5. A whole lot of fun to play but it can be a nightmare to GM especially for OCD types.

Oh I know, I have both Pathfinder 1e and a few other 3.X derivates in my game shelf. Usually I find that these games tend to be pretty fun during the first few levels, but then turns into a slog later on. An issue I don't have with many other of the tabletop RPGs I have (or have played)
