Games with kingdom management and/or base-building/supplies?
I know it's not the most popular opinion around, but I really liked the Kingdom Management part of the game. Not really because it was so well done and executed, but I like playing realistic-ish RPGs. What I mean by that is your guys have to rest, eat, they have injuries maybe, and they have a place to call home you (ideally) can customise. In short, unlike say Diablo or Divinity, your people feel alive and really parts of the world and not just passing through.

Dragon Age: Inquisition had some of that; Tyranny also did to some extent, as far as I'm aware; Wasteland 3 as well; I guess Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous should be named, even though it's totally different on that front; I guess Kenshi also fits that bill?

What other games would you guys recommend? The more similar to Kingmaker the better, but I'm open to anything really!

Spellforce series is RPG + RTS hybrid.

Neverwinter Nights 2 had some of that, and fairly well done.

Wartales is pretty fun, it's not a kingdom management but a warband management.
Then there is the age of wonders series with a mix between civilization and heroes of might and magic (on that account, heroes of might and magic is also a great series).
I also liked fallen enchantress for the high level of customization.

There is also gloomhaven, which is dungeon crawling with some guild management.

Wait for Age of Wonders 4, it will be amazing. The earlier ones are decent but this new one looks on another level, they seem to have gone inside my head and made every change I always wanted for the series. Age of Wonders 4 comes out May 2.

I saw that it was coming out and I had no idea. I'm cautiously optimistic about it since I liked the previous ones well enough. What changes did they make that you like?

Rng is back in (for range combat), Race customization (This is HUGE for me, like in Master of Orion 2), Rp seems improved for dungeon/wonders, seems like the t4 spam won't be as pronounced from what it looks like with the way the units/spellbooks look, and the Tomes system in general looks much better than the way magic choice was in earlier games (always thought the magic was done worse in age of wonders than in master of magic). Also the way they are doing the city cap/soft cap.

That does sound promising, especially if they encourage the usage of other units besides t4.

I kinda wish they weren't doing 4 DLCs but if it's a good game I'll still play it.
