metamagic? extended spell?

I dont remember if there is prerequisite but extend spell metamagic feat is available

But is your question how to select the feat at level up or how to extend a spell once your learned the feat ?

you should have a list of feats you aren't eligible for as well, just keep scrolling down and read why you can't take it

It's a feat - you need to use one of your feat choices to select it.

In general, characters don't get a feat at level 4. Some classes do (such as fighter), but those tend to be limited to certain feats (such as combat feats).

The base magus gets a Magus Arcana selection at class levels (3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18). Extended Magic is a possible selection, and it allows the magus to cast up to three spells per day as if they were extended.

The base magus also bets bonus fests at class levels (5, 11, 17). The magus can select Metamagic (Extend Spell) with these bonus feats.

All characters get a feat selection at every odd-numbered character level. I think anyone can select Metamagic (Extend Spell) with these feats - certainly a character with at least one magus class level can.

A magus does not get a bonus feat or magus arcana at class level 4.

If it is Metamagic from Magus Arcana, it allows you to use it on 3 spells per rest, from Ability tab. Note it is toggle that you need to turn on/off.
It may also be automaticaly turned on after rest, so you may need to turn it off, to not waste it right away.

If you are talking about the Feat extend. You need to create new metamagic extended spells from the metamagic menu in your spellbook.

If you talking about the Magus special ability to extend 3 spells per day. The ability will be in your quick ability tab and you need to click on it for your next spell to be extended.

You should be able to choose metamagic extend spell at level 1,3,5,7....
Its possible the game show it with a red 👎 so check those.

Some classes get bonus feats and most of those bonus feats lists don't have metamagic feats in them.

I had the same problem.

I think you need the DLC Varnhold´s Lot to choose the metamagic feats for the Magus.
