There wouldn't be in need of QoL if they followed the rules. Entangle is a concentration spell and would ended if the caster loses the concentration check.
Dispel spell would as well dispel the spell on a concentration check. Fireball would had removed entangle by the simple practice that entangle is organic and is consumed by flames. You should be able to throw fire grenades on entangle area but you can't.
In a side story your party is entangled and uses run away, cut with your swords OR sweep the vines with your torches.
