Amiri and Cloak of the Winter Wolf

So I recently picked up this Cloak of the Winter Wolf. It states that when performing a bite attack, the cloak should add 1D6 Cold Damage plus give a free trip attack. It's only for this reason that I've given Amiri a bite attack as a new rage power when leveling up. However, not once have the effect of the cloak come into play when she dealt a bite attack. Is this normal?

huh... definitely worked for me when I played a while ago...

She must hit with bite and the enemy must pass CMB check for trip to work. You can stack multiple bites from barbarian , vivisector, dragon disciple and Tiefling heritage, each sucsessfull bite will triger that effect.

works as intended, trip is a combat maneuver, it will not always work

Ah! She had succeeded in bite-attacks several times though. But neither the cold damage, nor the trip effect come in play. Do I have to add CMB feats then?

Weird, it worked for me just fine. Try to check your game files, something could be corrupted. Or try to reequip that cloak.
