What does universalist spell focus do?

Nothing... there is no universal spells in this video game.

A pure universalist wizard is however a very good wizard.

Same as any other focus boost DC of spells from universalist school. But it is 99.9999% useless since, there is only 1 universalist spell, and it is a one use scroll. And it is divine not arcane so you cannot scribe it.

You have no opposition schools but lose the bonus spell slot any other school provides,
Opposition schools take two spell slots instead of one. Like Octavia I never gave her Abjuration or Necromancy spells.

Universalit School also gives Metamagic Mastery, it gives you points to spend on using metamagic with spells. Reach and Extend at first, then more as level up.

There's the mythic abundant spellcasting too, that more than makes up for the lack of the school spell
Almost overkill lol
What I don't like is Nenio has the exact same opposition schools as Octavia did.

I do not like having opposition school and that is why I aways pick Universalist. I do not need bonus spells and school abilities are not that good. On other hand having metamagic without using feat is great. I love extending Haste.

Yeah the school and Domain abilities in general aren't that great. Especially the lower level ones.
I used them maybe once with Tristian in Vordakais tomb just because I was trying not to rest and run out of all my spells.
