Would be super bummed if that's not a thing in the game.
I thought the whole point of wearing hide and leather armors was because they carried over into wildshape, while metal armors did not : /
Druids are completely unable to wear metal armor even if they don't wildshape. In PnP, if a druid willingly puts on metal armor they violate their vows and lose their druid powers until they get an atonement spell.
There is no Full Plate that Druids can wear - the heaviest is the Bonemail (a suit of Scale Mail +4 that gives you DR 5/bludgeoning and immunity to Cold)
I just wanted to mention that there seems to be a trade off when it comes to the lack of Wild enchantment in this game. Shields held as you wild shape still give their bonuses on my game but armor does not. So half of Wild's function is kinda built into the Druid (which I'll accept since they never added the spell Strong Jaw to the game)
Now I have a few nexus mods installed (Eldritch Arcana, Closer to Tabletop, Respecialization, and Bag of Tricks) but I don't THINK any of them mention messing with wild shape (or druids in general) in any way except through the optional traits introduced.
