Max level?
Starting the game for the first time and planning a build. What level will we be toward end game? Assuming I do roughly half the side quests.

Cheers.

Not sure how far the game goes but the Pathfinder system as a whole has a level cap of 20. How close Kingmaker gets to it, I don't know - the published campaign this is based on got as high as level 17 but I wouldn't be surprised if Owlcat adjusted things so you hit 20 near the end.

This was confirmed that you can go up to level 20 easily

I'm guessing 20 will be the cap.

I can't remember but I think if you take say, Fighter 1 and Cleric 1, you'll notice that Fighter 20 and Cleric 20 will be greyed out, as if to say it'll never be obtainable etc.

I think so anyway.

Sounds about right - the Pathfinder system maxes out at level 20. There's nothing beyond it. The most powerful people in the setting's history (I'm thinking mainly of Baba Yaga - yes, that Baba Yaga - and a couple of the Runelords who ruled Thassilon about 9,000 or so years prior the setting's present day) were 20th level. They just also had Mythic Ranks which are gained separately to your levels (so you could be 10th level with 3 Mythic Ranks) and are not in Kingmaker.

For pathfinder their are rules for a game to go higher then level 20 however for this game I dont see they would use them. Most campains I run that get that high I would have my players just pick up another class and co-op 3.0/3.5 epic level D&D rules.
