Yeah I would think so. Like I said I am a regular Magus (not sword saint) and took prof with bastard sword at level 3. My original reply was that you *could* use bastard sword as magus. I tried it on a level1 fighter level 1 magus in testing characters and same thing, he used it 1 handed once i took the magus class. The casting spell through it happened when I got that ability at level 2.
I would have to look at the sword saint info, do they not get the level 2 ability?
they do! just curious about it. probably will stick with a bastard sword also, i start all over again cuz i didnt have high enough int. so :P ♥♥♥♥ it. always learning right? xD

Short answer, no. Technically, yes.
An elven curved blade is 2-handed, and you would therefore not be able to use Spell Combat ... Which should say something like
"At 1st level, a magus learns to cast spells and wield his weapons at the same time. This functions much like two-weapon fighting, but the off-hand weapon is a spell that is being cast. To use this ability, the magus must have one hand free (even if the spell being cast does not have somatic components), while wielding a light or one-handed melee weapon in the other hand. "
You will still be able to use Spellstrike.
Suggested weapons instead are: Fencing grace /w Estoc, rapier (+2, agile rapier available in chapter 2) or Slashing grace /w Scimitar.
The reason is the 18-20 crit profile that is enhanced to 15-20 with keen. The reason e.g. the Falcata is not prefered, is because spells still only deal x2 on a critical, even if the weapon is x3 (or x4 at level 20).
Fencing grace and Slashing Grace works in pathfinder Kingmaker. In pathfinder tabletop Sword Saints (Kensais) instead take a feat called Dervish Dancer, because of the particular wording you see at the end of Fencing Grace.
hum... but slashing grace isnt only for dex weapons? i was wonder the impression that if i used a str based character i couldnt use them
should i multiclass? or just take full Sword saint?
So if we go based on that shocking grasp damage caps out at 5d6 at level 5. You have to decide on whether or not there are other class features the kensai provides that you'd be interested in. Otherwise the best multiclass option I can think of would be two handed fighter.
ok thanks for all the advices bro! one last thing. should i put more points in strength?
this are my stats:
str 15
dex 14
con 13
int 17
wis 13
cha 12
dont wanna lower cha cuz of rp roles :P
