Someone found good Estocs?
As in many CRPGs it seems like you get a problem sooner or later, if you take anything but the mainstream weapons. I have found a ton of nice swords, axes, hammers and bows. But only one single Estoc +1 and one that gives +1 and weapon finesse, which is useless for me since my whole built is focused on weapon finesse. B

My Eldritch Scion already feels very weak compared to a Rogue(extreme damage), Mage or a Tank(extreme armor). So a good estoc would maybe help.

Someone found any?

When you buy something not mainstream, most likely you get poor support.
Just like in real life.

This are some real words of wisdom right here.

I had hopes that my new dwarf smith could help. Sadly he isn't into estocs at all.

Wrong answer. If you're going to make a weapon an available choice, there should be viable options available for that choice. Period. There's a number of non-mainstream weapons that have multiple great options for it(kukris, earth breakers, etc). There's no reason why they can't add weapon choices on the vendors just like they did with the +1s. The stupid part is that I did find a named estoc and got super excited, only to realize that it was a +1, agile weapon. I was halfway to level 11, if I wanted to base my dmg on dex, I would have already done so(and did).

Yeah there are at least 1 or 2 unique ones, not far as levels 8 I think and another one somewhere around act 4.

I believe one of them is in optional location though on some dead adventurer.

Took me until near the end of Act 4 to even find a normal sling, and it sure as hell wasn't in a shop. How an extremely simple weapon like that ends up being harder to find than magical Dueling swords is beyond me.
