Is there any way to send companions home?

Im at Verdant chambers and apperantly coming alone means I cant even have my companions waiting outside, is there any way to send them home or do i need to travel all the way back to load them off?

you can change the party setup on the map (its the button looking like a group of people) - takes time to do so though.

Takes about 2 And 1/2 days (not sure the ♥♥♥♥ why. I mean am I waiting for them to walk back while I’m staying.)

That’s still less (if you walk back alone) than it would to be walk back and there again. Plus you can search close areas with a full party before entering the chambers alone for your ummm “reward”
