Sword Saint/Duelist
Salutations, Im kinda new to pathfinder, but I thought it sounded pretty cool to go with a Sword Saint/Duelist build for my main character. One of my favorite advanced D&D classes was a Blade Dancer, and I was hoping to recreate the feel for it in this game.

So few questions if I could.

1) Is this combination possible.
2) Does it make sense, will it do what I think it does.
3) Any hints on how to unlock the combination early on (i.e. meet the pre-req)

Thanks for helping out a noob!

Hey Ocean, can you tell me with which stats did you start and what did you pick? I am loving the idea of building a ss duelist

How do you boost them?

I use a trainer, but it's for a site that I have a lifetime membership to that I got years ago.

There's a free save game editor on here somewhere that you can edit xp values, might be a pain having to save/load and adjust values every level but that's the only other way I know of doing it.

Cheat engine is free and you can do levels xp attributes and whatever else. Heres the table

Cheathappens is ok, but this is free and works. You'll need https://www.cheatengine.org/ and download the latest for the table to work.

And before anyone says anything, cheatengine isn't a virus, it doesn't destroy computers.
Kay last question I think Aasimar vs. Human. Humans get that extra feat, and two extra ability points. However, Aasimar at level 10 can get wings, which increase thier dodge AC by 3....

Start with an Elf Rogue, bump Dex as high as you can, then Int; it's okay to dump both Strength and Charisma, but dumping Cha on your main character is not a wonderful idea due to having to pass diplomacy checks for ruling. So I made mine a mercenary. Pick Elven Curved Blade for your finesse damage rogue class feature option once you hit lvl3, and then switch to Sword Saint for lvls 4+. You get a traveling merchant in your capital during Act 2 that gives you a Keen Elven Curved Blade +1, which increases the crit window to 16-20, so get that ASAP as well. Feats aren't terribly important but make sure you pick up Pirahna Strike, Dodge, Weapon Focus (Elven Curve Blade), and Accomplished Sneak Attacker at lvl5 to get an extra sneak attack die. Another wonderful feat is combat reflexes which lets you make essentially unlimited attacks of opportunity since you will probably have a dex modifier of +7-8 by the middle of Act 2.

Thanks a lot mate! Any more advices on the duelist part or should i just pick what i think it's best?
I would go int first then dex.
Canny defence from both duelist and sword saint stacks giving you insane AC.
And how about constitution?
Halfling
Str 5 , dex 18, con 14, int 17, Wis 14, cha 9
lvl up Int all the way.

Get Fencing grace as soon as possible to use dex instead of Str for dmg.
Halfling gets + AC for size.

2x Canny defence ( Both Duelist and Sword saint ) = 2x int modifier for AC ( Stacks with Dex modifier )
Fencing Grace = + Dex instead of str for dmg.

Makes hell of a tank with duelist/sword saint with good dmg.
You will use riposte and attack of oppurtunity for dmg while tanking.

This build is a late bloomer thou.

You can lower Wis. But you will get lower will saves.
I am currently running a Magus (Sword Saint) 4/Rogue (Thug) 3/Fighter (Aldori Defender) 3 that is pretty stacked. I don't know if I am just going to go pure Fighter from here or Duelist as I haven't read the Duelist stuff yet.

Currently AC 28 and he hits harder than a raging Amiri and my custom dwarf axe & shield fighter.

maybe go for more lvls in sword saint, what are ur stats (str, dex, etc...)?

Elven Curved Blade is a two handed weapon - not suitable at all for a Magus/Rogue. You need a free off-hand as a magus in order to cast spells.
You know literally nothing.

Rogue 3 / Sword Saint 7 / Duelist 10 is one of the strongest possible builds in the game. This is at lvl 7, with a SINGLE shocking grasp spellstrike using an Elven Curved Blade dealing over 130 damage. It absolutely does work, and the sneak attack damage is added to BOTH your spell damage and attack damage for this spellstrike.

Character is currently Rogue 3 / SS 4

But that not only disables the possibility to dual-wield weapon with spell casting from magus, it also shouldn't work with Precise Strike ability from duelist according to description ("light or one-handed weapon"). Wouldn't it be better to pick a Rapier or Estoc as a weapon?
Go for the Dueling Sword because the game hands them out like candy. You'll find 3 or 4 of them for every other type of weapon you might choose. I don't think I've ever found a named Elven Curved Blade (I'm doing the final quests right now), and only one magical one. Similarly I've found 2 Estocs. I think Bloodhound (+5 dueling sword, 18-20x2, agile, extra attack, a stacking +2 damage against an opponent every time you hit them.), is probably the best weapon for one-handed style character in the game.
