Help! Can't find the Stag Lord!
I've done the rival quest and killed Tartuccio and there's a little cutscene when I walk out that some guy rescurects him... now what? I hand in the quest and I'm still left wondering about, not finding the Stag Lord's fortress. Everywhere I try in the south is blocked by fog. What do I do?

You need to find the solution to dispel this magical barrier.

You have to find the temple of the elk and cleanse it. You can find a NPC telling you about it not too far from the outpost, iirc.

Check your quest log. It'll tell you the name of a place for the other main quest.

My dudes, do not be subtle, I am clueless and have been banging my head about this for hours, exploring the entire map and reading my journal up and down trying to find any hints.

I am really not finding any of this, can you be more specific, please

I would have been, if I still remembered where I found the info :(

Come on dude... it's only the first chapter.

So :
- First night in Oleg's Post. You defeat the bandits during the night, then you go upstairs in his house so you can rest.
You're awaken by a ghostly woman, the Guardian of Bloom. No matter which dialog options you pick, she still gives you all the informations you need for the main quest.

- Take the side quests from Oleg's wife, and Bokken.

[Fangberries cave]

- Ancient Tomb, illustrated book where you chase Tartuccio, then Pine Patch.

- Thorn Ford : kill bandits, rescue Jhod, gets Oleg's wife wedding ring from one of the female bandit (diplomacy or attack)

- Oleg's Post, you'll be given a companion quest related to Amiri, involving a big boar to hunt.

- Speak with Jhog in Oleg's Post, he'll speak about his visions and tells you about the Temple of the Elk.

[Technic League Ambush, Technic League Camp]

- Abandonned Hut. Guardian of the Bloom. Visions of the Stag Lord with his father, difficult childhood, blabla... Nugrah's Lost Note near the shrine, then the Guardian of the Bloom gives you the location of the Temple of the Elk

- Temple of the Elk, clear the area, rescue Tristan who is lying on the ground (east of the area, upstairs, near the big Bear you have to defeat)

- Old Sycamore, Caves, Depths, Tartuccio.... Moon radishes for Bokken

- Oleg's Post, tell Kesten Garess about « Tartuccio's fate »

[Non-quests related small areas, just a bit of exploration]

[Amiri's companion quest]

- Go to the Stag Lord's fort. Not sure exactly when you'll be given the location of this area, but I know you do.

Finish Chapter 1, becomes Baron, and pray. Because if you were stuck in the first chapter (beside from Old Sycamore caves and depths), then you'll need a lot of luck and courage.

Yeah, I have cleared the map, but there was a corner in Thorn Ford that I missed, which contained crucial parts to set the quest chain in action, that was all. Thanks for the help.

Thanks Augustine, same thing happen to me. I went from Ancient Tomb to Old Sycamore. All the quests ended after killing Tartuccio. But I went back to Thorn Ford to pick up the written orders that opened the Temple of the Elk quest. Cheers!!

Game glitches, even trough the talk with the chick NO tmeple location (yes i found the note, both of them) and then without knowing it didnt show up i sold it and.... yea x) GG to stupid game design, unable to buy it back, as it has been quite few hours, unable to proceed with the game.

I've done all the things listed above, got the location to the Fort...but cannot get to the fort because the fog won't clear. I did the Temple of the Elk quest a long time ago so it's had "time" to clear but nothing doing...I cannot get to the fort.

There is only 2 things that need to be done for the fog to clear.
- Deal with Tartuccio in Old Sycamore caves
- Recruit Tristan at The Temple of the Elk

We need to return to Oleg after and the fog should clear.
Maybe try to talk to Jhod in Oleg to finish Tristan recruitment quest...

I went again and spoke to both Jhod and Tristian at Oleg's but I've done all the dialogue options. Sadly the fog remains. I can see the fort just cannot approach it without that fog dialogue coming up and forcing me back. I informed the Jamoni guard that Tartuccio is dead.

I've never actually *taken* Tristian out on a mission - could that be it? He's recruited and ready in the selection list I've just never selected him to go with me.

Pretty sure you just have to wait X amount of time after clearing the Temple of the Elk and finishing the Old Sycamore for the fog to clear.

You can try waiting for a few days in game to see if it clears up.

Open your journal and check if you have time left on the timer.

I have seen someone before with a similar problem who was simply just taking the ''wrong'' path to the fort. Maybe double check that and try other roads.

I have 55 days left...so I didn't make it all in that "below 30 days" mark...but there's still plenty of time. I tried another road going down by the fort but that also got cut off. :( I can wander around for a bit on the other roads seeing if it waits out but I hate to have all the effort only to lose the game when it times out. . .
