Edit: Yes, damage living does normally damage party members.
Does the game's selective channel feat also limit targets selected = Cha modifier?
Feel like I need to read a whole rulebook to play the game, haha.
You could just opt to disregard channel as a real option and focus on other things.
Friend and I used to joke about running a pair of Pharasman clerics that channel positive and negative, but due to death domain and selective channel can just burn enemies down.
my concern about an evil cleric is my party is good and if we do too many good deeds, my evil guy will lose favor with deity
Don't think this can happen. I have a couple custom npcs in my party and I haven't noticed any alignment drift on them. Think only the main pc can change alignment.
