Kingdom Management, A ridiculous mess.

Events, all problems, spawning at the end of the month, all military, only 1 general, kingdom destroyed.

So i figured id just give up on this nonsense and focus on the game and switched auto on which prevents the destruction of your kingdom.

Skipped to the next event, everything was a failure.
Skipped to the next event, all successes.
Skipped to the next event, kingdom destoryed.

Thought kingdom couldnt fail on auto, well it can.

Yeah they really really need to either let all your "potential" advisors actually take part to keep up with all the events if you are on top of things or, they need to make it so that all events pop up at the beginning of the month.

I suppose its not really realistic but, neither is having an event pop on the 30th that will auto fail once it rolls over to the first of the month.

it just does not work. I had no events to begin with as i actually managed them in the first place to be reduced to dust immediatly. some of the events are the same event replicated. and my general is already doing the event, so i literally cannot do any of them. its just dumb.

I concur - it is far to random to make sence - at the least if your concenrating on it you shouldnt be able to fail it.

Its not even funny. ive now failed a quest due to needing to find armags tomb but that requires the kingdom to hire scholars. the AI fails to hire them. failing me the quest. Also its only been 6 days since i last skipped from one event to the next, but 62 events or projects have been completed, which is impossible, only 12 of those are successful, which is a ridiculous rate. Even the ai cannot cope, i maanged the kingdom better. This is disgustingly bad design. -69 relations, - 81 stability. seriously. wow.

You failed the quest because amiri is not joining back to your party and you cannot made the mainstory. Hidden timer wrecks you in this part.

I hire all exept espionage. Nothing to do with sholars^^

The game design is horrible in Kingdom management!

Look at this: let's say you love one of the NPCs that are walking with you. Then you find out that you are out of Advisors and you are faced with a simple matter: or you give up on enjoying your beloved NPC or your kingdom fails. This is a horrible game design decision by itself.

What are you on? Choosing NPCs as advisors does not hinder their ability to travel with you.

ive got my kingdom on auto so it should be able to handle these problems for me. I was forced to swap due to my earlier comments. i esssentially outwitted the game to stop the ai from destroying my kingdom to get further. As i have previously stated i have stopped managing my kingdom altogether at this point. But the AI is abysmal at it. And apparently cheating.

Interesting since linzi states you need to hire scholars, thanks for letting me know about amiri wondered what was wrong with her.

the fact that there is a hidden timer involved, is BS. all timers should be visible either iva pop up or static area where such things are kept.

Currently getting murdered by Dark Epidemic cards. 3-4 pop up at the beginning of the month over a few days and wreck the kingdom before my capable advisers finish their current tasks. Each one says it's fine until the beginning of the next month but on the 15th or so I lose because of the disease. Any ideas? Kingdom stats are all fine beforehand. Cannot progress atm and don't want to switch to auto because I enjoy the management.

Not to mention going into kingdom management page needs loading.
Enter building management page? Load again.
Want to leave capital? 30 secs loading time to capital town. Walk 20 secs to area exit. Load again to world map.
Explore the map a little, kingdom notification pop up, click it, load again. What? Someone requested an audience in throne room. pfffffff
You spend 25% of time staring at loading screens.

Save/Reload before doing anything to change the possibilities is really helpful, like you only got good opportunities and avoid crisis. So save, launch, see, reload if not satisfied.
