A Flower in the Swamp

So I have gotten this quest to find a rare flower in the heart of the narlmarches. I think I at one point may of found said flower, but then sold it since it was an offer item (Checked the vendors but didnt notice and maybe it was to one whos gone now).

I have been walking around thinking of where it could be, but with no new areas spawning I have no clue. Anyone completed this?

For those who are still searching: you can find it on the map of swamp witch's hut. In the north east ( near the satyr and his girl) u can pass through the woods using athletics and than defeat 3 owl bears. afterwards u can pick up that flower

This is correct, and you cannot sell this item nor pick it before getting the quest

The bears tear you to shreds anyway if you go there too early. God I hate those owlbears...

Hint : Use your summons as bait, just cast them into their reach and lure them into distance of your longrange weapons ... you could shoot through/over bushes, trees etc. :-)

or just steal it with your hidden thief (spell, potion)

Thank you very much for this. Just another example of how totally *(^$#@ some of these quests are. How in the HECK are you suppose to know that ONE flower, is in that ONE area, that most of us already explored many levels ago. Multiply that by dozens of areas. Just stupid.

So I found the oddest bug trying to solve this.

Earlier in the game, I cheesed the owlbears by casting Entangle (without entering the area itself). My ranged characters were able to take them out which was nice because I think the party was only around level 6 at the time and would've been slaughtered by the owlbears. Then I left the owlbear bodies just lying there because my Lore (Nature) skill was still too low to skin them successfully.

When I came for the flower, I could not find it at all. But *after* I skinned and looted the owlbears, left the map, and re-entered, the flower finally showed up.

I gotta say, this game is lovely, fun, and oftentimes adorable, and I also often feel like I'm back in the first decade of my career, debugging code that I can't remember writing. ;o)
