Tomin hanvaki. Where do i start?
Where do i have to look for him? i was in the town where he went and didnt arive, but no infos there.

Would also be very interested since i'm also not finding him. Tried the upper path to varnhold and the lower path to varnhold (until i get taken to Varnhold by mercs), no luck so far... (sub to thread)

yeah i searched everything on both ways by now, and tried to ask the bartender in my tavern. nothing.

ok i got a new quest in the same category. i think now i can search the lands. so you just have to wait until you can go on with the quest, i guess.

How did you get the quest, did it just pop up after a while or did you do something specific to trigger it ?

He was on the road to Varnhold but didn't arrive there, on the overland map exit west of Varnhold(Town) and go north, a location 'Shallow Gulch' will pop up, Tomin Hanvaki is there.

That was impossible during the time i got the quest (since varnholm was still doing well, i got caught by a the patrole before getting there. Solution was just waiting till the next part of main quest started...

I see, then the quest giver approached you earlier than he should have, may be a bug. I got the quest 2 in-game weeks later after Varnhold main quest started.

What was the actual date when you got that first main quest? Do you recall? I'm in the same boat, got the quest, can't get the Shallow Gulch.

You got a letter informing you in a throne room scene. Its kinda hard to miss. I had a relatively longe time of peace before, i think it was 2 months before the next portal would open...

Shallow Gulch isn't appearing in the area you say it is. Went north from Varnhold, and there's nothing up there.

same for me. when i go back to capital the quest is lost but i cant find the place its just not spawning
