Game is unnecessarily slow at points
One frustration I am currently having with the game is how some parts are. I will give two examples.

1) You cannot skip ahead during cutscenes.

For example, when you first get your barony, you have to take the tour of the city. You might as well go afk for 5 minutes at that point. There are several other times during the game where the cut scenes just move at a snail's pace.

Another example is camping in a map, where you have the unskippable banter between teammates.

I propose being able to click to move to the next beat in the scene, or to skip the scene entirely.

2) Walking around when out of combat is so slow. I'm especially having this problem in my capitol. Every time I want to go out for some adventures, I need to take the long, slow walk through my entire city before I can pick my party and go.

Walking around is even more frustrating in the rain. I often find myself clicking on the area exit on the mini map, and then alt tabbing out for a few minutes while my character walks. Because otherwise, I'm just sitting there staring at my characters moving in complete safety for a while.

I propose having an option for time to move faster when out of combat. If it could be sped up by a factor of 2 or 3, the game would feel a lot nicer.

There are some other areas that the game could be sped up a little. Moving on the world map could be just a little faster, for example. And I'm sure you'll be continuously optimizing loading times. But the two issues I mentioned above are the major culprits.

You can skip party banter when camping by pressing the space bar.

This is frustrating me as well. Even the baldur's gate series had a little slider you could use to speed up walking around. Really hoping they implement some sort of fast forward option. Would be nice for the map, too.

Not to mention the tedium of getting from a to b on the world map, having to rest every 30 secs or do a random encounter, only to be told you have to go back home to read a damn letter once you get wherever it was xD

I would absolutely love to have a "fast movement" toggle ala Poe2. Doesn't have to be in combat, though that would be nice too. Can a dev at least answer if they're considering it or not?

I was not aware of this. Thanks.

My larger point remains that the space bar trick doesn't work on long cut scenes to my knowledge.

Adding my voice to the necessity of somehow skipping those annoyingly LONG cutscenes. To be precise, I mean the speech bubbles. Why do they have to stay up for soooo agonizingly long? Do people read that slowly? Please give the option of skipping each individual speech bubble (or the whole cutscene, at least)
