Best Weapon Found?
Hey guys, I'm curious, and want to know... what is the best weapon that you have found in the game so far, and where did you find it...

At the moment, I'd say Trollripper (Trollreaper?) is the best I have found, it is a +1 Acidic Greataxe... If I remember correctly, it is found in "ruined tower" during act 2, there's a web-covered tower up a hill on the map, I think. I believe it was in there.

It does a real good job of tearing critters up... but... is there anything better?... Tell me what you've found, and where you got it from, please :)

Harrim is currently using a Shockfrost Heavy Mace +1. It has 4-21 damage on it, 1d8 bludgeoning, +1 enhancement, +1d6 cold and +1d6 electricity. Seems pretty good, for a one handed weapon.

At one point he had a mace with "Speed" on it which let him seemingly attack twice each round instead of once. I didn't pay enough attention to him but that seemed like what the weapon was doing. Long gone now though.

Found a weapon called "Decapitator" which is one handed, Keen and Furious, was going to give it to Amiri because it gains bonuses when the user enters rage mode, but it's one handed so it doesn't suit the playstyle I chose for her.

Regongar has a Mother's Care and Mother's Warmth dual wielding set up going too, they're both Keen +2 Kukri's with 4-12 damage, only one is fire and one is cold damage. He's tearing through stuff with them.

The most awesome weapon I've seen was a goblin club worth 124567 gold though. No joke, it was called "The Fearsomeful Mace of Chwurk". I was going to buy it, but...well if I wanted to waste money I'd buy BP from that guy in the capital :steammocking:

I tried killing him and seeing if I could loot it from his corpse, but he ran away in dialogue before I could do anything, which was a shame.

Where in the nine hells did you find Mother's Warmth? I found Mother's Care at the Goblin fortress but can't for the life of me find the other piece of the pair.

Same area; maybe you failed the perception check

Other than Devourer of Metal, Sceptre of Woe, a +3 heavy mace that does 2d6 bludgeoning damage instead of 1d8. Got it for sparing Tartuk and allowing him to live within my barony as a vassal.

I got that +3 mace for striking Tartuk down like the dog he is.

Really regretting Weapon Focus: Longsword on my Paladin so far. Usually in crpgs a ton of the good weapons are long swords. The ones I’ve found so far have been underwhelming.

Wait, what!?!... You can actually let him live somehow?!?... You mean the second iteration... the "reincarnated" one, right?... Not the one you fight under the giant tree?

When I fought him the second time, it didn't give me a peaceful option, the troll attacked me, and combat just started... I went straight for Tartuk first, and critted him,... he died instantly... if I had not critted him, would he have surrendered like the troll king did?

Depends on who you kill first. The other member of the duo will surrender when they get low HP and see their partner is dead. You have to be of Chaotic alignment to let him stay in your kingdom, though.
