So I finally found Tortuccio under the Sycamore Tree.....

Where the heck do I go now? If I explore further south I have to turn around because the fog is too thick. I know the game told me to report back to the soldier but I have no idea where he is.

Try going back to Oleg's trading post and have a look around.

Thank you I went back to Oleg and was able to complete that particular quest. Does that mean that the FOG in the southern part is lifted now? I only have 60 days and I do not want to waste any time eliminating the stag lord.

Thanks but when I went down to the southern part before I was pushed back due to the fog. That's before I completed the questionnaire to find Tortuccio however nothing has indicated that I can go to that area hence why I was asking.

There are 2 major questlines that need to be done. Tartuccio, which you have done, and the Stag Lord. So you'll have to follow the Stag Lord questline now

When you do the stag lord questline and you get to the elk temple and cleanse it by killing all the monsters and finally killing the large bear who is busily mauling Tristan, MAKE sure that you talk to Tristan after killing the bear, if you dont talk to him then the nymph will not appear to you when you go back to the trading post and reveal the location of the stag fortress, I found this out the hard way and spent many fruitless hours wandering the map wondering what I had missed.

Good point, I almost missed him because the bear was lying on top of him myself. TAB is your friend :D
