Witch Hunt Quest requires day at beginning of week, can't find a calendar
So so far the closest thing to calendars I've seen are the day counters at the top of the kingdom planning and camping screens, but neither lists, like, what day of the week it is.
Is there a more sensible calendar somewhere? The controls menu says that there's one behind the C key when in kingdom planning mode, but it isn't coming up for me.

I was just looking for this myself.

Since I couldn't find any info about it, I just went there and it worked. I don't think the '1st of the week' means anything.

Might be that they wanted Days to be in the game(when you look at Locations, the Last Visited option will tell you the weekday you visited) but then left it out, to not give players to many confusing new names, as the months are enough. So it could just be a journal entry they never fixed. Hopefully when I go to the location it works like you said.

You also get BP payments at the end of each week, so what I did to get it done was wait until that payment came in and then sprint across the lake to get there on time. Assuming it /does/ require Mondays/Moondays, Pharast 10th of 4711 is the day it worked for me, and since the months work like our months (first has 31 days, second has 28, third/Pharast has 31, etc.) one could count out from that day with a calendar if needed until this gets a clearer solution.

I just entered the Shrine on the 18th which according to your method would not be the first of a week. And everything went fine. So my former assumption is probably right, it was supposed to be in the game, they made the change of taking out weekdays and they forgot to change the text for the journal.

Unless I lucked out I just travelled straight to the shrine and was able to enter right away. I noticed the journal mentioning the week day and figured it'd have to be the 1st, 8th, 15th etc of the month you were in but then I just walked in anyway.

Must be a bug or dummied out feature.

To see the day of the Week, mouse over the hourglass (to the left, next to your character/group pics)

That's only useful if you're on a map, is there no other way?

So I started on Day 25 Arodus 4711 and had to rest until Day 29 Arodus to get this quest to begin. Hope this helps :D Happy gaming/social distancing!!

You hover over the hourglass and a tooltip will pop up informing you of what day of the week it is.

The days of the week are very similar to our own:

Moonday
Toilday
Wealday
Oathday
Fireday
Starday
Sunday

The months are also similar in that there are 12 months in the year with the same number of days in their respective calendar:

Abadius
Calistril
Pharast
Gozran
Desnus
Sarenith
Erastus
Arodus
Rova
Lamashan
Neth
Kuthona

Kesten won’t accept you anytime you get there. I just went there now and he told me to come back on the correct day.

The hourglass doesn’t show if you’re traveling in map view you have to be somewhere.

It would’ve made sense to have the day next to the date on map view as well. But it is what it is.

This is quite silly.

Thanks Mork, yeah I was in world view and wasn’t able to find it. Once I entered a map I noticed it right away and edited my post.
Thought it should really be by the date logically too.
