NOTE: Dodge bonus to AC is the ONLY bonus that stacks with itself. EX: A cloak, two rings, a shield, armor, and boots with +1 dodge bonus to AC each would give you +6 AC.
Nobody likes the Steam forums. I'd bet dollars to donuts he's trolling.
Now let's see the price of those rings:
+1: 2000 Gold pieces
+2: 8000 Gold pieces
+3: 18000 Gold pieces.
Does it seems logic that 2 rings for a value of 10000 give the same bonus that one of 18000?
In this case it would occupy the 2 ring slots, but AC is so important that would be a good choice. And a ring of protection +3, is more expensive than 2 of protection +2. (So less money could give higher bonus)
Also, items that give save throw bonus or attribute bonus don't stack (if they are of the same type)
