Lethal stance and reckless stance?

I dont understand lethal says it gives +1 to attack per 4 levels?

And reckless +1 to attack and -1 to ac per 4 levels??????

lethal says it gives +1 COMPETENCE bonus to attack and reckless says unqualified +1 to attack.

In this game, usually the same bonus does not stack (i think dodge bonus for example stacks though, but most others do not) lvl 1 linzi bard allready gives everyone +1 competence bonus, so the stance would do nothing.
