Blessed Path armor

So I got this full plate armor called Blessed Path and none of my characters can wear it. Is there a requirement? It mentioned if worn by Paladin you get blah lbah blah so that makes it seem like any other characters can wear it with the heavy armor proficiency. Am I missing something?

Afaik you have to be LAWFUL GOOD to wear it.
Edit: It says "This +2 full plate can only be equiped by good characters."

Weird. I read this guide saying:

Inside you’ll find a whopping 2,122 GP and the Blessed Path suit of armor. This Full Plate +2 also has the "Blessed" property, giving its wearer a +2 bonus to Wisdom and Charisma, as well as a +4 Sacred bonus to Saving Throws against compulsion effects and poison. Furthermore, if equipped by a Paladin, that Paladin will gain the ability to Smite Evil twice per day. While it might be a little heavy for Tristian (although it would benefit him quite a bit), it’ll also serve Valerie well provided you don’t have a protagonist more deserving of it. At the very least that +2 Wisdom will boost its wearer’s Will Save, easily making it the best suit of heavy armor you’ve found thus far.

Makes it sound like anyone can wear (sort of).

If only a Paladin can wear it, that sucks.

Oh, I have to edit that... I just checked, it can only be worn by GOOD chars. Doesn't matter if chaotic or lawful. It outright says "This +2 full plate can only be equiped by good characters."

Which sucks really hard. None of the story tanks are good.

You need to be Neutral, Lawful or Chaotic GOOD in order to wear it I believe. I figured it would have been a perfect fit for Valerie, but she's Lawful Neutral.

I haven't met any GOOD characters who can wear Heavy Armour, so I guess it's another collectible that can collect dust in my treasury. A shame. I guess it's designed for the player, or his mercenaries.

Might work alright on Ekundayo with a level in Fighter or something since he's LG and has decent Strength.

thanks for the info. Unfortunately none of my fighters are good lol. mostly neutral ;( or they're unable to wear heavy armor

Just tried and because Tristian is an Eccliestheurge, even if he gets the Heavy Armor feat, he can't use any of his cleric spells or abilities.

I know this is a bit stale, but Ekundayo can be reclassed as a paladin - the Divine Hunter subclass is an archer version of paladin so he'll be able to use smite evil and still kick ass with a bow.

Yes, but if you do this, be aware that his dog will soon become useless.

Well you gotta love Owlcat they make a armor for good characters and all but 2 of your companions are good

The give you 2 clerics and no monks,paladins or druids

My main MC Vivisectionist was good and I went fighter 1/Vivisectionist 19 and he wore that armor for a decent portion of the game since it's truly excellent
