So what's the deal with call of Abbadon?

It's certainly connected to Vordakai. So, I've defeated them, I try to get away from his lair, and still it hits, losing me the game. Am I missing something?

Yes of course, I did, I've killed Vordakai, freed souls and on my way back got hit by event

There is a time limit for this quest. It says "Something something, there's horrible magic in the mountains, it will hit soon" So I discovered and defeated one who's responsible for that magic, but event still hits

It seems there is nothing concerning the problem in an article you gave. I did all that

There is an area behind his cycolps throne that triggers the next chapter. You go back there and break all the jars, the only thing i can think of is that your timer ran out while you were in the dungeon. I had 7 days left going in, didnt rest much.

According to the game, you can cast a darkness spell on the gate and it should open. I think this is fluff, though -- I don't remember seeing any darkness spells in this game (they exist in P&P, obviously, but...).

WoW, this whole timer issue sucks. Spent hours (real life time) getting through the Three Sister deal, heading to the Valley and that's it?!?!

Same thing just happened to me. Looked like the same warning "power spell coming"...took it like the bald hill ones....then 107 hours in the game...poof...game over man. What are we supposed to do now? Build a fire and sing a couple of songs with Linzy?

Weird. After returning to Kellid Barbarian Camp after finding/rescuing the three Defaced Sisters, I murdered everyone. Then I had the time to return to my capital (sell stuff, buy rations for the Vordakai's Tomb), I got the warning in my Kingdom Management telling me that I should hurry to finish this Chapter.
Then I went straight to the Vordakai's Tomb, rested only twice in the dungeon. And I finished the Chapter in time.

So I think you guys just take way too much time once a Chapter has started to finish it.
