Questions Regarding Death's Door

Hello!

I'm currently playing the game with Death's Door enabled, which as a more casual player I greatly appreciate. However, I'm looking to get it removed and the description it gives seems a little misleading:

"...This condition can be removed by visiting a healer at the capital or by Greater Restoration."

The two clerics I've encountered so far (Jhod Kavken and Arsinoe) only sell me scrolls, none of which are Greater Restoration.

The questions I have are:

-Where in the capital is the healer I'm supposed to visit?
-Do non-party NPC clerics not offer on-demand healing services like in Baldur's Gate or NWN?
-Can Death's Door be lifted with a Lesser Restoration or Restoration?

If the latter two questions are true, and if the first question is tied to how far in the game I am, it would be incredibly helpful to adjust the tooltip to reflect this.

This is really unclear but "visiting a healer in the capital" just means resting in the capital. Your royal bedchamber is at the rear of the throne room, sleeping here will cure death's door from all characters.

I guess that's fair, though it's tremendously misleading.

Also, I don't think Greater Restoration works. I tried using that spell and it didn't remove the status effect.

Yeah, it's really stupid. One of so many things wrong with this game. Resting at your capital or at Oleg's trading post will remove death's door.

I think you have it backwards. Deaths Door makes the game harder, not easier.

I don't think so
death's door isn't enabled at higher difficulties
death's door is kind of a second chance, right? instead of dying right away, you get this condition.
