Damage number meaning (1d6)
i don't know how damage in this game function. I'm not familiar with the tabletop game.

So one of my spells does:" 1d4+1 points of force damage."
another Spell :" 1d6 points of fire damage per caster level (maximum 10d6)."

What does the 1d mean and what does the number after it mean?

It is expressing the dice rolled to come to a result. Before the d represents the number of dice rolled and the number after represents the number of faces of the die.

1D4 means - One 4-sided dice will be rolled, and whatever the result, 1 will be added to it. So the minimum damage would be 2 on a roll of 1, and the max would be a 5 on a roll of 4.

Yup as Magus said,
So a 1d4 +1 means one 4 sided dice is rolled, whatever roll on that dice comes up has +1 added to it.

1 D 6
1 = # of dice
6 = sides on that die

So 1 roll of a six sided die.

10d6 would be 10 six-sided dice.

2d6 + 3
would be 2 six-sided dice + 3 (the number, not more dice)

1d4 + 1
1 four-sided die + 1. So 1-4 +1, or to put another way, 2-5.

1 d 6 is 1 die 6 or dice it essentiall 1 to 6 damage

so 5 d 6 would be 5x6 would be 5 to 30 damage

Thanks for answer they were really helpful, but i have another question.

In Dialogues with Skill checks. It says for example 2. [Strength 15] (text). When i hover over Strength 15 it says:" Strength,DC: 15 then below it shows the character best suited for this action and Strength +3.

What does that mean?
Magus Sep 28, 2018 @ 3:50pm
DC is difficulty class, or the number you must beat to succeed. The recommendation is for the character with the highest bonus to complete the roll successfully.

For your new question, all checks (and attacks) are done by rolling a 1d20 and adding a bonus to it, and then comparing it to the number. Matching or higher means you win. So +3 strength means you will be rolling a 1d20 + 3, and you have to beat a 15 (dc means difficulty check). So you have to roll a 12 or higher on the 1d20.

Which means you would only have a 40% chance of success.

The DC is how difficult the check is. Strength is the type of check it is.

DC 15 means you have to roll a 15 or highter after including bonuses. As it is a Strength check, you add in your Strength BONUS, not the entire attribute. A strength of 16, for example gives you a +3 bonus. So in that case you would have to roll a 12, as 12 + 3 = 15.

Correct. Buffs are important, and buffing before the challenge may help.

The d represents “dice” or die in this case. 1D4+1 gives a result between 2 and 5. 1D6 is from 1to 6
Aero Sep 28, 2018 @ 3:55pm
The number before the d is how many dice the game is rolling to determine the damage and the number after the d is how many sides that dice has.

Wow everyone responding at once nice

To expand on this, you can have lots of different small bonuses added for checks. For example, for a strength check you normally add your strength bonus only (16-17 strength gets you a plus 3), though some magic spells might give you an extra boost. For a normal melee attack, you add your strength bonus, your attack bonus, any bonus from the weapon being magic (if it is magic), any bonus from special feats, and any bonuses from special abilities.

For a ranged attack, you would normally add dex instead of strength, but lots of abilities can change this (weapon finesse means that with a weapon like a dagger, even though it is melee, you can add your dex bonus if it is higher than your str bonus).
