when casting or scribing a spell via a scroll this item has a 25% chance to create a duplicate scroll (sells for 4850 gold)

sooooo if its a opne shot, Im probably going to sell it. if it is per day then this could be a GOLD mine IF you scribe and get a free EXPENSIVE scroll.... not sure what scroll would make you more than 4850 over time but im sitting on the hand of magus dann for a bit....

I believe it might be once per day, I only tested far enough to be sure it worked. :-\

It isn't scribing scrolls (I wish!), the Hand of Magus Dann is an item that can be found (can't remember where, sadly), that gives a 25% chance of creating a copy of a scroll when you copy it to a spellbook. It has one charge, but it doesn't go away, which leads me to believe it's a once per day 25% chance thing.

You can find the Hand of Magus Dann in a locked chest. In your settlement tavern, head to second floor. Think it is the first or second door to your right.

I don't think that it is one use per day. I've got it too (didn't use it more than once per day, however, since I already learned most spells) and when activated it gives a permanent effect like defensive stance. Therefore, it should work as long as it is activated.

Reusable, like most such items. It lists one charge for some reason, but is actually toggable (active / inactive).
