Anyone know where I can find the Wererat needed to uh..."forward" some mad alchemists schemes for the quest An Ancient Formula?

It says it's in the woods near Narlmarch but pointing me to a tree in a forest...Well, it doesn't help much.

You can buy them from different vendors
The witch in the swamp
Tha mage with traps (There you can find actually 2 books one is for sale the other in his laboratory)
Your capital

You can also find them as loot on the map but I cant remember where.

Book three is where you meet the dyrad

I am not sure if it fixed or random but book 2 is actually sold by Bokken himself. Just go to Oleg's Tradepost buy it then give it to him.

I have a problem with that quest : I found book 1 & 2 (1 from the witch, 2 in the linorn cave) but... the mage in the lone house is selling book 1, and Bokken is selling me book 2. I can't seem to find book 3 (i also looked in my capital, it's not there either). Is my game bugged ? In the Verdant chamber (the place with the dryad ambush), there is no book ? Is it inside the keep ? For me the door is closed so I can't venture deeper.

In my playtrough the mage in the lone house is dead. The witch in the swamp won´t sell me anything (perhaps since i havent completed her side quests, messed up a lot of nature checks before i knew i kneeded plants and mushrooms for her). I guess I am screwed?
