How to start building buildings? Like a barn.

I'm also trying to figure out how to build things. Did you happen to take the offer from the mayor for help to construct things? I don't know if they would affect if one is able to start building right off or not.

You need to be in kingdom view, then press on the town and choose enter, you will go to town overview and it will allow you to build.
Took me a while to figure out too.

What you do is go into the menu from the table. You click on the city or town you want to build in. It will bring up the menu of the stats of the town and what is in it (likely nothing). At the bottom of the information you will see a button that will allow you to build inside that city. You click it, a loading screen, and you will be taken to an overview of your city and the build plots.

I believe you have to have 3 territories first and 3 towns first to upgrade a town to a city. I am not sure, I either get bugged and stuck in the throne room or my kingdom fails

This game is not very intuitive. I feel like I’m fighting the interface as much as mobs
