Right-click on some infinity spell to use it automatically instead of auto-attack.
Also, press C and go into forth tab.
Can you see those "fists" icons with numbers above them? Those are the levels you get feats.
Without counting bonus feats from your class/race, you get 10 in total (level 1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15,17,19).
Now wizards get bonus feats at Level 1,5,10,15 and 20 but you can't just choose any feats for those! Only magic feats like meta magic :)
You will see your level progress (1,2,3,4 etc) and underneath you will see what special abilites etc you get per level. Under the levels you will see Fists, these feats so if you see a fist under lvl 4 for example you will get a few feat to select at 4.
You need to gain the ability to cast 3rd level arcane spells and you need to have Martial Weapons Proficiency.
Now you get your first level 3 spell slot at Level 5 (Wizard). As for the martial weapon proficiency, the best way is to dip 1 level into a martial class to get it. (most feat efficient, probably fighter for you since you are not cha-based for spellcasting).
This means the fastest you can go into Eldritch Knight is at Level 7. (5 wizard, 1 fighter)
Keep in mind that Eldritch Knights cannot wear armor or use shield without getting hit with arcane spell failure chance. (This is offset for armor if you picked magus instead of wizard, but you lost access to higher tier arcane spells as trade off).
e.g. you have 18 intelligence = (18/2)-5 => +4 bonus to everything that uses intelligence
If you are asking about melee weapon damage increase via raising attributes, then Strength bonus affects it. Here is some reading for you to understand how damage works in pathfinder!

Keep in mind there are feats that affect damage too (such as Weapon specialization, Power attack etc)
