How does cooking work?

Hi all.
I found some ingredients and a cookbook but don't see any cooking options or skills?

You cook when you camp, you can choose what recipe to cook from a list of known ones if you have the ingredients. They all give minor buffs.

You have to copy the cooking recipe. The first one i found after the tutorial was sold by Oleg. You might have picked up a book in the kitchen during the tutorial, i think it does nothing.

Cooking is done when you rest your party.
When you are at the first screen, there is a button just below the portraits that lets you assign your party to do diffrent things.
One of the things is cooking and depending on what you cook, the party gets a buff, that normaly lasts for 12h.

Cooking is also bugged. You have to click the recipe and then click finished on the management screen, then go back to manage and highlight the icon to see what it does. Heary meal for example is DC 20 for +1 saves

...... not on my game no tabs appear. and when i had Linzi in my party she was alway the cook. i took her out of the party for a bit and when i put her back in ....she does not now so it appears that i have permanently lost the ability to get the heart meal buff....bummer
