There should be a difficulty setting to rest off negative qualities if you don't have a Cleric with the Restoration (not lesser) spell.

Restoration potions and spells.

The game makers don't know how to handle permanent affects which means too many monsters have them with far too few ways of removing said effects so go into settings and flip on cure on rest, lower crits while your at it because npcs get higher chances to land crits especially if its a "boss" , crits are also maliciously mislabeled so normal crits is not normal, go for the lite version which is actually normal.

In short when you see a setting describing something as normal assume the developer is a lying piece of ♥♥♥♥ and the setting below normal is actually normal.

Restoration, not Lesser Restoration.

Both restoration and greater restoration is currently bugged for alot of people. So you might not be able to cure negative levels at all. It sucks.
Restoration cured negative levels for me a few weeks ago, but I haven't tested it recently. Thats "Restoration", and not "Restoration, Lesser".
At this point, I have my cleric prepare at least six copies of Death Ward every day. Best way to cure negative levels is to never get them.

This ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game is a cluster of bad designing by retarded developers. This game actually make me appreciate EA, cause no matter how bad Mass Effect A was, I was never feel extremely frustrating. I am at Voradakai tomb or whatever, and every freaking monster here has some kind of permanent negative effect.......

restoration hits up all leves at once - I haven't seen a negative level effect with a down time of less than or equal to 24 hours - just rest?
