How Many Shards For Relics?

The Dwarven Helm shards don't seem to end... And the Storyteller doesn't recognize them all. Is there another NPC who can reforge relics?

There are 10 in total. And only after you gather them all the storyteller will reforge them into the equipment. This is total madness. My suggestion is throw them to the merchant.

I have 10 shards of the ring, OF A RING and that still isn't enough apparently.

Considering how useful that necklace that came from the scorched fragments is, I'm wondering if there's a correlation between number of pieces and the power the reassembled item, i.e., the more pieces it takes, the better the item is.

I've just completed the ring. It's.. Interesting. Potentially very useful for a cha-based class but with some really impressive drawbacks.

Thread may be old and newer threads have been made but for anyone who may have ended up here through google. To forge the artifact you need to finish the story of the region i.e the five pieces of the restovic set for the necklace of double crosses and once thats done you need to collect a number of artifacts Helm:10 Gauntlets: Seems to be 10 but nobody has found the fifth piece to finish the Forest Queen story it seems.
